Privacy Policy

When your church subscribes and uses Manna, or asks us for a free trial design, we collect:

• Your church's name, primary contact name, email, and phone number
• Brand assets you choose to provide — logo, colors, fonts, website, image library links, and any notes about your brand
• The content of your design requests — what you're asking us to make, the direction you give us, and any files you attach
• Billing information, handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we receive confirmation that you're subscribed and basic billing status, not your card number
• If you book a call through our "Get Started" link, the name, email, and any answers you give Calendly to schedule it
• If you use the "Request your client portal link" form, your name, email, church name, church location (optional), and message
• If you request a free trial design, your name, job title (optional), email, church name, any brand details you choose to share (logo, color, font, and notes), and your design brief and any files you attach
• Anything you email us directly
• Basic technical information (like IP address and browser type) needed to keep the portal secure and working correctly

Our sites use only essential, sign-in-related cookies — nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We use this information to:

• Provide the design service — producing, reviewing, and delivering your requests
• Produce a free trial design you've asked for, and follow up by email about whether Manna is a good fit — just tell us if you'd rather we didn't
• Communicate with you about your account and requests by email
• Process payment for your subscription
• Keep the service secure and working as intended
• Improve Manna based on how churches actually use it

We don't sell your information, and we don't use your brand assets or request content for anything beyond producing your designs — including featuring a design in our own portfolio or marketing, which we do unless you've told us not to for that specific request. We don't feature free trial designs without your permission.

We use a small number of service providers to run Manna, each of whom only sees what they need to do their part:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
• Resend — sending account, request, and (if you've opted in) marketing emails
• Supabase — hosting our database and stored files
• Canva — the design tool our designers use to produce your requests, including its built-in AI design features when a designer uses them on your request
• Vercel — hosts our sites and sees each visitor's IP address and request logs, and provides our page-view analytics, which use no cookies and don't identify individual visitors
• Calendly — powers the "Book a 15-minute call" scheduling
• Google Fonts — the customer portal's font previewer loads font files directly from Google, which sees the visitor's IP address
• Our email provider — hosts the hello@manna-designs.com inbox, and so holds anything you email us
• Our designers — including any who work with us as contractors rather than employees, who access your requests and brand assets to produce your designs

We may also share information if Manna is sold or merges with another company, or where we believe it's needed to protect our rights or someone's safety, in addition to where the law requires it. Otherwise, we don't share your information with anyone else.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, delivered files stay in your portal for 30 days and are then deleted from our systems — you'll also have your own copy of anything saved from Canva. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires, and you can ask us to delete other information sooner — see "Your choices" below.

If you request a free trial design and don't go on to subscribe, we keep your request and files only as long as we need them to deliver your design and follow up, and we'll delete them sooner if you ask.

Portal access is tied to a unique link rather than a shared password, and sensitive operations happen only on our servers, never in a way that exposes secret keys to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorized access.

We don't track you across other sites, so we don't respond differently to a browser's Do Not Track signal.

Files you upload often include photos or information about people other than the person submitting the request — congregants, volunteers, or children. You're responsible for having permission to share that with us, and we use it only to produce your design.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about your church at any time by emailing hello@manna-designs.com. If we ever send marketing emails, every one includes a link to unsubscribe.

Manna currently serves churches in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Manna is a business tool for church staff and volunteers. It's not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we'll let you know by email or by posting a notice in your portal before it takes effect.
