Terms of Service
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. The service
Manna Designs, LLC ("Manna," "we," "us") is a design subscription for churches. For $299 per month, billed monthly with no long-term contract, a subscribing church ("you," "your church") may submit unlimited design requests through your Manna portal. Designs are produced in Canva and delivered to you as PNG, JPG, SVG, and/or PDF files — we don't produce physical prints, and files are delivered digitally only.
By subscribing, accessing your portal, or submitting a design request, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts and access
Your church accesses its portal through a unique link tied to your account rather than a traditional username and password. Treat that link like a password — anyone who has it can act on your church's behalf, including submitting requests and viewing your brand assets. You're responsible for activity through your portal link until you tell us it may have been shared or exposed; from that point on, we'll issue you a new one and treat the old one as no longer yours.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information and brand assets (logo, colors, fonts, website, and similar material) your church provides through the portal, and for making sure the person using the portal is authorized to act for your church.
3. Payment and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, starting on the date you subscribe. We don't store your card details ourselves — Stripe handles that. Plans renew automatically each month until canceled.
We may change the price of the plan going forward; if we do, we'll give you reasonable notice before it applies to your next billing cycle. If a payment fails, we may pause your service until it's resolved.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by emailing hello@manna-designs.com. We handle cancellation by email rather than a self-serve button because your portal doesn't require a login — email is how we confirm a cancellation request is actually coming from your church. We'll confirm the date your subscription ends; you won't be billed again after that, and we don't offer partial-month refunds for time already billed — except under the Golden Rule Guarantee in section 5.
Delivered files stay downloadable in your portal for 30 days after cancellation, after which we delete them from our systems. Save anything you need before then — you'll also have your own copy wherever you saved it from Canva.
We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or if payment remains unresolved for an extended period.
5. Design requests, revisions, and fair use
Submit what you'd like made — the type of piece, the size, what it should say, and any brand direction — through your request form. We'll return a design for your review; revisions are unlimited, and we'll keep refining a request until you approve it, as long as changes stay within the original request's scope rather than becoming a new one.
The Golden Rule Guarantee. If we can't produce a design you're satisfied with — after you've asked for revisions and given us the chance to make them — email hello@manna-designs.com within 30 days of that month's charge and we'll refund that month's subscription fee in full. The guarantee covers design work within the scope described in this section; it doesn't apply to requests we've declined or re-scoped for being outside it.
"Unlimited" means unlimited requests, not unlimited simultaneous throughput: we work through your queue in the order submitted, one active request at a time, and turn around each one within about 2 business days. If your queue is empty that's a steady cadence of roughly one delivery every 2 business days; if you submit many requests at once, we'll work through them at that same pace, faster when we have the capacity to. A single large or complex piece may be treated as more than one request at our discretion.
The service covers the design types listed on your request form. It doesn't cover building or developing websites (as opposed to graphics for one), video production, full brand rebrands, or physical printing. Please don't submit requests for content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is hateful, defamatory, or sexually explicit. We can decline or re-scope a request that's out of scope, or stop work on one that violates this.
If you ask for a design to also be resized into other formats on the same request — say, a flyer that's also needed as a social post and an email graphic — those resized versions are part of that one request, not separate ones. Adding extra formats may add about 1 business day to that request's delivery.
Free trial designs. A church that isn't yet subscribed can request one free design through our website, with no payment and no obligation to subscribe. It's limited to one per church, and we may decline a request or limit revisions on it at our discretion. Sections 6 through 12 apply to a free trial design as they do to subscription work, except that we won't feature it in our portfolio or marketing without your permission.
6. Ownership
Once we deliver an approved final design to you, it's yours to use for your church's purposes. You keep whatever rights you already had in the brand assets, photos, and text you gave us to work with — submitting them to us doesn't transfer ownership, it just lets us use them to produce your designs.
Some designs include stock photos, fonts, or graphic elements licensed to us through Canva rather than owned by us outright — those stay under Canva's own license terms even after we deliver your design. If your request is a logo, we use only original artwork or properly licensed elements, since Canva's own terms restrict using its stock content in a logo or trademark.
We may feature completed work in our own portfolio or marketing — you can keep a specific request out of that by unchecking the portfolio-use option when you submit it.
7. Your content and promises to us
You're responsible for anything your church uploads or submits to us — photos, text, logos, and similar material — and you confirm you have the right to share it with us and to let us use it to produce your designs. This matters especially for:
- Photos that include other people, including children
- Song lyrics or music
- Bible translations still under copyright, such as the NIV or ESV
- Other organizations' logos or trademarks
If something you submit turns out to infringe someone else's rights or you didn't have permission to share it, you agree to cover the costs and damages that causes us, including reasonable legal fees.
8. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We do our best to turn designs around quickly and accurately, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or exactly meet every expectation on the first pass — that's what the revision process is for.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Manna isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know by email or by posting a notice in your portal before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Medina County, Ohio, and you consent to that venue.
11. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Manna regarding the service, and replace any earlier discussions or agreements about it. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your account or these Terms to someone else without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a sale or merger of our business. Neither of us is liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. We'll send notices to the email address on your account; you can reach us at the contact below.
